As I have been browsing through Instagram and blogs over the past month, all I have seen was the buzz for the Alexander Wang x H&M collab to drop. Since the launch last week it has been amazing to see media, bloggers and customers alike, talking almost exclusively about what they got. Don't get me wrong I love Alexander Wang, he is one of my favourite designers but I wasn't interested in this collaboration. It was a conscious decision, I would rather save my money and buy something from his label. This way it is my individuality and aesthetic that will be celebrated when I purchase the next item, not what the media told me to get. Meanwhile I will be supporting my fellow independent designers and entrepreneurs. Thank you Val from Galisfly for sending me these beautiful jewellery pieces, this is my second set from her line and I love it!

This look is literal perfection. My friend got me the men's sweater from that Wang x H&M collection, kind of excited about it, but i totally get your non-hype. Sometimes it's just not worth it.
