DARK SHADOWS

WEARING: Melissa Araujo Over Sized Tunic, Zara Chiffon Top, American Apparel Lame Matte Leggings, Calvin Klein Clutch and Ray-Ban Sunnies.

Over exposed in the early cold sun of Spring in contrast with the dark shadows. Trying to maintain a balance with my thoughts. I am sure you all go through the happy, hard, low and high times. I have been in constant warfare with so many feelings this past month; trying to keep up with the pace I set out for myself, getting things done. By the end of this week the collection will be done. I have one dress left to sew.

I can sometimes feel a sense of burn out trying to sneak in and get me off the track, but I shake it off. I concentrate on the final goal, and give myself more tasks; the busier I am the more I accomplish. I took a small break last night from the madness of my studio and I watched a documentary about Bob Marley. It inspired me, I am no reggae/rasta girl but the story of his life is beautifully told and the essence of the film is about succeeding, persevering through all the struggles of ones life and finding peace of mind. Following dreams, making things happen and believing in yourself. It was a nice reminder to stay focused and to not lose sight.

    I have those same AA leggings, they are great! I really like this setting you've chosen - white bricks, shadows.
    Perseverance is necessary for success; however, sometimes we need to step back to see the big picture, reassess and re-focus.
