Mexico has been amazing and we had a wonderful time with friends and family. I am not ready to go back to the cold and leave behind this beautiful weather, sunshine and the ocean. I want to wish you all a HAPPY NEW YEAR! May 2015 be full of adventures, accomplishments and some struggles to keep us all honest. Thank you for the support towards my work and the blog.

I wanted my last post of the year to be a recap of what I think were my best outfits in 2014. I have added a link below to all them in case you want to see the rest of the photos. As I wrap the year I need to give a shout out to my sister from another mother: my talented friend & photographer Carmin Edwards. Let's see what 2015 will bring, cheers! And to close the year right I want to thank Glam Magazine & Janna for including me in the New Year Resolution feature. Check it out here!

WEARING: Melissa Araujo Vest Dress, H&M Leather Jacket & Pants, Nike Top, Celine Trio Bag Tibi Mules and 8 Other Reasons Rings.

My first week in Mexico has been amazing, people are so friendly and outgoing, the food is authentic and delicious. The weather has been exactly what I expected, nice and warm which means that I have just been hanging out at the beach everyday. Nothing like some time off to make you appreciate what you already have and recharge yourself to start new things.

With a few days left before Christmas, I hope you are all doing well, happy and feeling positive. Once again I want to express my gratitude towards all of you, who week after week come to see and read about what I am up to, share your comments, likes and dislikes. I am very thankful. Happy Holidays everyone!

WEARING: Mesh Bomber (similar Alexander Wang here), American Apparel Crop Top, JBrand Jeans, Rachael Ruddick Le Trop Bag, Vintage Boots, Vanessa Mooney Bangle & 8 Other Reasons Rings.

Who here gets as excited as me about Christmas? It is one of my favourite times of the year, the gestures of gratitude and giving are intensified. You can feel it in the air, and I am extra excited because I am leaving to Mexico, later this week! I feel it is a well deserved break from all the work I have been doing this past year. I am looking forward to the sunshine, the ocean and the food (I love Mexican cuisine). I have a hard time relaxing, I am always doing or thinking of something; but I will try my best to just enjoy the moment and my surroundings. I even shot two extra looks to have content for the time I am away. If you want to see what I am up to in Mexico, check my instagram: @melissa.araujo; I will be posting from there!

In case you don't follow me on instagram (check me out here), then let me introduce you to our 100% Organic Cotton Circle Scarf. It is simple, minimal, and functional. I actually wear it year round, because it keeps me warm during the fall and winter, then when the weather transitions to Spring and Summer I wear it on cold evenings. If you are looking for something easy but comfortable to gift for the holidays, the circle scarf ($35) is perfect. If you are interested message me here and leave your email, we ship internationally. Support independent designers this holiday season!
