RELAXED

WEARING: JNBY Silk Top, Addison NY Pants, Adidas Superstar II, Celine Trio Bag, Club Monaco Sunnies and THP Shop Cuffs.

A relaxed look on the blog today as I have been really busy, in need of comfort clothes and shoes to get me through the days. I seem to be always wearing my Adidas Superstars, let's face it the white sneaker trend is everywhere, from editorials in major fashion magazines to Isabel Marant's latest collection. I can't tell you how glad I am with the sneaker come back in to high fashion, my feet say thank you. As far as my personal designs go, I am super stoked to announce that I have finished all the patterns for my collaboration with the London based brand: Two M Projects. Now time to cut and sew the samples!

BAG LADY

WEARING: J Brand Mesh Top, Addison Pants, THShop Vest, Sophie Hulme Bag, Shoe Dazzle Shoes and H&M Hair Accessory.

Aside from an unhealthy obsession with jackets, you may have also noticed the other major love of my life is handbags. I have an inclination to buy small or medium sized bags, until I saw the Sophie Hulme Bag. I loved the simple, yet catching hardware design, the square shape; I knew at first sight that I would have to expand my collection with a tote bag. It is the perfect carry on while travelling, or for those occasions when you need to carry your entire life around with you. In this case I went to a conference over the weekend and I had a lot with me in order to survive the long day. On another note, if you love the pearl jewellery trend, make sure to head over to my friend's blog: The Haute Pursuit. Check out Vanessa's new lookbook, which I am extra excited for because I helped her style the shoot.

CROP IT GOOD

WEARING: Club Monaco Vest, Top, Zara Knit Crop Top, Vintage Culottes, DIY Belt, and Church's Loafers (Old Collection) and Galisfly Rings.

Correct me if I am wrong, but crop tops and culottes are high fashion items of the moment. What can I say, crop tops have always been my "thing" since I was a child. The love affair continued as a teen, stopped while I was at uni, and now it's back for a few years. I believe that crop tops are for everyone, it is really just about how you styled them. I mean if you didn't do your crunches or exercised a lot, you can wear them with a high waist bottom like I did; but if you are an avid work out person, by all means wear it low and show all the hard work. I have a long way to go before my abs will be in full exposure (if ever).

NIKE MOTIVATION

WEARING: Nike Top, DIY American Apparel Pants, Alexander Wang Marion Bag, THPS Bound Cuffs, H&M Leather Jacket and Heels.

Some of you may know and some may not, but I was a very active growing up and continued that through my uni years. Sports, dance, you name it I was enrolled until 3 years ago when I had an accident, that left me with a broken collarbone, a dislocated shoulder, and traumatized for a while. I thought all I could do from then on was to live in pain, suck it up and spend my time between sessions of chiro and physio.

I had come to terms that my active life was over. Such a defeatist attitude - I know. It took me three years to get it together again, and feel inspired by the Nike logo "Just Do It", along with their motivational twitter feed. So now I am back at it, I will probably have a lot of lows and pain, but you gotta start somewhere. I already feel so happy not to only use my sports gear for fashion, but also for their real purpose. Do you actually wear your gear for sports or just for fashion?
