WEARING: Cyeoms MindGame Jacket, Club Monaco Top & Clutch, Mango Skinny Jeans, Vintage Booties and Sunnies, The Little Threads Bracelet.

I am so confused by the weather right now. It has been days with none stop rain and real cold weather; then a few days ago it was like it had never rained at all and the sunshine was blinding, though I think it actually only lasted for a few hours. I decided I wanted to play games like the weather and picked an almost head to toe white outfit (just because I can and I wanted people to come up to me and tell me I couldn't wear white after labour day) I didn't get the memo - I don't follow all of the rules.

Instead when it comes to styling I keep things as minimalistic as possible with a touch of edginess. In this outfit that edge is clearly my newest acquisition, the MindGames Jacket  - a designer trade with Crystal. She took one of my designs and I choose this kick ass jacket with chiffon sleeves; like, are you kidding me? I wanted it as soon as I saw it on her website. It fits me like a glove. As you know, I love exposed zippers. This continues my trend of creatively wearing outfits in a different, and fresh way. Because let's face it, when your wardrobe is made of basically 3 to 4 colours (at best) like mine, it is hard to keep it fresh and innovative. But that is a challenge that I love to undertake everyday before I go out.

WEARING: Club Monaco Jumper, Alexander Wang Skirt, Leather Booties, H&M Hat, Little Thread Bracelet

OMG, a reader sent me this link to another feature on American Apparel , this time in their Pinterest Best-of-Seen-Submitted . SICK!!! I am stoked about it.

While in LA I was privileged to visit the Cooper Design Space ; to check out some of their showrooms and creative spaces. Everyone there was ultra fashionable and so individual to their styles. Great inspiration, for literally months to come. I hope one day to be part of a creative team, or even better get to the point where others are invested in your creative projects, and see the results of your hard work sooner then later.

Now that I am back at home, no more sun, and the wind is cold, I will be hoping to invest more time in to my projects. Make sure to come back here because I need an outlet for all of those thoughts, ideas and creativity. If you are anything like me you have some pretty high days, and others pretty low: those doubting days. I know that is usually what crazy creative people feel, and on that note I take my hat off to all of you who are true to your essence, dreams and ambitions no matter the obstacles or roadblocks. There is a light at the end of the tunnel, all we need is a little faith and LOTS of hard work.

WEARING: Splendid Jacket, Melissa Araujo Crop Top, American Apparel Leather Skirt & Bra and Aldo Shoes.

“It is not true that people stop pursuing dreams because they grow old, they grow old because they stop pursuing dreams.”  Gabriel Garcia Marquez.
To be in LA is such a great experience. Every time I am here it means something different to me but the  purpose stays the same: To follow my dreams. I love it here, regardless of some of the plastic people. This is a place where you can see your dreams coming true. Like Marquez said in the quote above (he is one of my favourite writers) dreams keep us young, and alert.

I am so focused right now, so inspired by the people I met this week from CEO's, to VP's to creative directors to the little people (me included). Taking risks, speaking up and following your dreams are the best pieces of advice that I can give myself right now. I am not naive and I know not all dreams come true; but I am hungry for it and I won't give up easily. Yes, sharing dreams and creativity, one blog post at a time. Photos by another dreamer, the very talented: Particle Observer. Not only do you get to see his beautiful photos, he just uploaded a new song.
